The Answer
In a state of trance
Where no senses respond
Wrapped in a blanket of warm colours
That unfreezes this cold lair
Or more commonly known as: Heart
Stop the time, if you must.
Enjoy the silence,
The absence of seconds ticking
Preserving moments that we hold dear to
Not elapsing, til the end of time.
Cold, extremely cold.
Shivers break free
Warm, gathering much of it,
Heartbeats, pumping joyfully
Tenderness that’s able to become,
Become an addiction,
A craving, one longs for.
You astound me,
Serenading with such poise,
Melting a heart of steel,
You’ve played your cards well, challenger.
Your words, my friend,
As essential as a remedy
Worthy of healing critical ailments.
Your sentences, my dear,
Shall never leaveme
For you, my love, are the key to the door of miracles.
Gahhh! Seriously, I’ve become nuts, writing such things.
Someone, knock me back into reality, please!
I know, it sounds really weird but I kinda like how it describes….anyway, forget it.
It’s not that it’s worth anything valuable in life.
For long, I’ve dwelled in darkness
Searching for the ray of hope
Despite being lost in a maze
Where there is only one in a million possibilty of an exit.
You came for me,
Rescuing me from unseen circumstances
That might lurk any corner.
I’m blinded by your very presence
You extinguished the sadness
And revived the happiness.
How can I ever thank you for doing so?
