I hereby declare that I’ve just landed myself into a really tight spot right now.
Why is that so?
My friend’s way of teaching me French…is unbelievable.
He just gives me essays to transliterate it (based on how English it sounds, that’s where I get the hints) and it’s seriously NOT EASY!
I mean, I don’t even know what the heck all those words really mean, but it’s purely based on my guesses against my knowledge of English.
Sheesh….it’s tough! It’s more like a guessing game than a language lesson, don’t you think? XD
And I’ve got another problem.
My Korean friend, who has been staying in Canada for practically all his life, is willing to partner with me in the ‘quest’ to learn Korean. However, due to the huge time difference (here’s a hint: Singapore’s timing is GMT+8….Canada’s timing is GMT-7) we’re still discussing about when the both of us can find some time to really talk to each other.
And oh yeah, I forgot to add….he’s a trainee at SM Entertainment, which is like the Korean counterpart of Japanese Johny’s Entertainment. How cool is that? XD
I seriously CANNOT stick to only one language.
Now, I have to find a Thai friend or something so that I can learn Thai from them XD
If great grand was still alive, I’d probably be real fluent in Thai as she had been last time…we have common interests in languages, dad says.
Oh well~
Things have been really hectic in school.
As usual, not having enough sleep and all…
Oh and that reminds me…I’ve gotta turn in right now or else I’d probably wont be able to wake up forever XD
